Introduction of Magnetic Separator

Magnetic separator is specially designed to remove the thin steel wire from the rubber powder in waste tire recycling line thoroughly. It can also remove the scrap iron and steel when processing other scrap rubber products. We provide a double roller magnetic separator for roughing separation and a single roller magnetic separator for concentration separation. After using these two magnetic separators, the steel wire in the rubber powder is completely removed, and the purity of rubber powder is improved.

Working Principle of Magnetic Separator

The vibrating screen sends the rubber powder to the magnetic separator. When the powder is conveyed to the magnetic roller, the steel wire mixed in the powder will be sucked rapidly onto the belt by the high magnetic field force. Along with the rotary of the roller, the steel wire is transported behind the roller and finally falls down since there is no magnetic field, while the rubber powder is thrown out and leave the belt under the effect of centrifugal force and gravity.

Steel in the Tire

The bead wire of tire is made of steel. It has good elasticity and high hardness and can be used for sandblasting and shot blasting. A radial-ply tire has the steel belts, giving the term steel-belted radial. An all-steel radial tire has the body plies using steel threads. It is usually used for the truck. A semi-steel radial tire has the body plies using nylon or polyester. It is usually used for passenger cars. A bias-ply tire has the body plies using nylon threads.
